EXPERIENCE

Barrister since the year 2012.

Since the year 2011, an advisor for the Department of Administrative and Criminal Justice of the Ministry of Justice.

Since the year 2008, a senior specialist of the Criminal Law Division of the Department of Administrative and Criminal Justice of the Ministry of Justice.

Since the year 2002 up to now, a lecturer of the criminal and procedural law at the Mykolas Römeris University.

Since the year 2001, a junior quota inspector at the 3rd Police Commissariat of the Chief Police Commissariat of Vilnius County.

 

On the 29th of June of the year 2007 Marina Gušauskienė defended her doctoral thesis in the field of law attributed to social sciences on the topic “The Right to Defence When Detecting and Investigating Criminal Offenses: Theoretical Legal Assumptions and Problems of Practical Application”.  She defended her thesis at the research institution: Mykolas Römeris University.

 

The barrister is experienced in preparing draft legal acts, providing an expert opinion, participating in various working groups at the national and international level.

The barrister is engaged in delivering lectures and expert activities.

The barrister is a member of the Criminalists’ Association of Lithuania.
